Lifelong Learning for Literacy Practitioners is a just-launched site by Community Literacy of Ontario.
The site is practical and easy-to-use resource for novice and experienced adult literacy practitioners in Ontario – and includes a comprehensive list of core skills for all literacy practitioners, information about education requirements for practitioners and a superb self-assessment tool to help practitioners gauge their current skills, how often they use their skills and the skills they may need in the future… all in all this very useful site is a a great resource for literacy practitioners in Ontario, across Canada and beyond.

Though I’m from outside Ontario, I found it helpful in pointing me to publications and online resources, as well as giving me some terminology when outlining my own professional development goals for the year.
Now… I need to go re-read your post about those “how to twitter” resources.
